Abstract
This chapter discusses how to approach the issue of spirituality religion with individual clients, families, and couples. Erikson’s theory of development , Fowler’s six-stage model of spiritual development, and Wilber’s holarchy model are also discussed. Various approaches to the taking of a religious–spiritual history are provided, as well as clinical examples.
