Abstract
This chapter addresses the methodological aspects of research to be considered in selecting an instrument to assess religiosity and/or spirituality. An overview is provided of many of the measures/instruments currently available to assess spirituality and religiosity in the context of research, as distinct from clinical practice. The psychometric properties of various instruments are provided.
