Abstract
Individuals are not entities onto themselves, but rather function within the framework of relations with others. Most, if not all, spiritual and religious paths provide guidance on how individuals are to behave toward each other in the context of family and other relationships. This chapter explores precepts across faiths that may be critical to an understanding of relationship patterns and/or that may serve as the impetus for change in the way an individual relates to others.
