Abstract
Tuberculosis (TB) is a major public health challenge in Pakistan. The National TB Control Program determined that a significant amount of TB patients in Pakistan are reluctant to visit health facilities for TB treatment. The Stop TB Partnership Pakistan, in collaboration with the National TB Control Program, devised a strategy to raise awareness of TB and change attitudes by working with TV, radio, and print media. The package included orientation sessions and meetings with editors and managers to encourage the staff to produce TB-related content including articles, talk shows, interviews with patients, documentaries, and musical events.
