Abstract
Noninvasive respiratory support, including continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) and noninvasive ventilation (NIV), is an important option for respiratory support in children. Efficacy of these therapies however is at least in part related to the ability of the child to actually wear the therapy during sleep. In this chapter, the evidence regarding adherence with CPAP and NIV will be summarized, including patterns and predictors of adherence.
