Abstract

I recall the first medical conference I ever attended. It was the 1993 American Academy of Neurology Meeting held at the Hilton Hotel in New York. I was in my final year of neurology residency and was on elective and received the OK to travel to the Big Apple and attend, even though I was not presenting any work there.
