Abstract

This chapter is aimed at demonstrating how conceptually derived Rorschach research can promote evidence-based practice with adolescents. The chapter discusses accumulated research findings demonstrating that the Rorschach performs as effectively as self-report inventories (e.g., MMPI) and widely accepted medical diagnostic procedures (e.g., MRI, PET). The chapter also presents recent CS cross-cultural normative reference data across age groups. These updated norms include, for the first time, data collected from non-Western adolescents and can be used by clinicians and researchers as a benchmark for evaluating adolescents around the world.
