Abstract
Having been hired by the observatory as a janitor and part time night assistant, Milt quickly makes friends and soon finds he has a gift for stellar photography. With the help of friends like Seth Nicholson and Hugo Benioff, he begins to learn the craft of stellar spectroscopy and the physics that supports it. As his skill at the telescope grows Milt publishes his first reports on cosmic events.
