Abstract
Atrioventricular (AV) nodal reentrant tachycardia (AVNRT) describes several forms of reentrant supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) in which the circuit propagates through functional “fast” and “slow” pathways of the atrioventricular node. Often similar in clinical presentation to SVT supported by an accessory pathway (AVRT, Chap. 4), it has distinct epidemiological and electrophysiologic features.
