Abstract
The incorporation of research into police practice, along with police practitioner-researcher relationships, are still relatively new approaches. Their growth will depend on the passing down of lessons learned from current efforts to the next generation of law enforcement officials and researchers. This chapters summarizes the key points from this monograph and provides additional insight into the future of these efforts.
