Abstract
A basic understanding of the vascular anatomy of the head and neck is needed to appropriately utilize neurointerventional services and perform neurointerventional procedures. In this chapter, the anatomy of the arterial and venous systems of the neck and cranium is reviewed. While a detailed coverage of these structures is beyond the scope of this text, special focus is placed on aspects that are most relevant to interventional practitioners.
