Abstract
The value of transanal endoscopic surgery (TES) continues to expand as minimally invasive techniques and equipment improve. A variety of rectal and colorectal pathology has been successfully treated with TES owing to superior visualization and better equipment. Further training and research will elucidate the complete scope of this technique as it continues to grow into an important niche in colon and rectal surgery.
