Abstract

To describe my perspective on aphasia therapy, I first consider some aspects of the development of aphasia therapy in Britain to indicate what has motivated my current approach to therapy. Then I describe the basis of this approach and how it has developed. Finally, I underline some of the issues that most currently concern me.
