Abstract
The history of disposal by cremation has already been briefly touched upon in Chapter 1. Because of the finality of this destructive method, and the opportunities for concealment of crime which it affords, it has been carefully regulated since its introduction, by increasingly stringent Acts and Regulations. The certification procedure is described below.
