Linear IgA disease of adults

  • Chapter
Management of Blistering Diseases

Abstract

Linear IgA disease of adults (LAD) is defined as a dapsone-responsive subepidermal bullous disease commencing after puberty in which linear IgA deposits are found at the basement membrane zone (BMZ). There may in addition be an associated circulating IgA anti-BMZ antibody.
