Abstract

Towards the end of 1990, staff at the University of Sunderland undertook a survey of the use of CASE within the United Kingdom (Stobart, Thompson and Smith, 1991b). The survey was undertaken by sending a postal questionnaire to 480 organizations involved in the development of commercial software.

The authors gratefully acknowledge the contribution made by Simon Stobart and Barrie Thompson to the work in this chapter.
