Abstract

While the quality of the performance is the personal responsibility of each member of the team, there is a role for the leader to point out the direction and set the pace. Not all people in leadership positions will lead. Leaders make efforts to shape change, while their weaker colleagues just accommodate the changes imposed by others, are reactive and less imaginative.
