Abstract
Several recent reviews1–5 summarize the physical properties of one-dimensional crystals based on either organic molecules or inorganic complexes. We focus here on magnetic properties and specifically exclude magnetic conductors, or one-dimensional “metals,” in which the approximation of localized moments fails.
