Abstract
Behavior Therapy, Applied Behavior Analysis, and Behavior Modification refer to a relatively recent, interrelated group of procedures for clinical assessment, intervention, and prevention. They are employed to relieve behavioral, emotional, and cognitive distress and disabilities, and to enhance the individual’s functional repertoires. The first journals, Behavior Research and Therapy, Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, Journal of Behavior Therapy and Experimental Psychiatry, and Behavior Therapy, have been followed by many others.
