Abstract

We have looked at the fate of both the open and closed universes. But a more pressing problem for us is: What is in store for mankind? What is the fate of Earth? This, strangely enough, is not an easy question to answer. We can predict the future of the universe much better than we can predict the future of civilization and life. There are so many factors, so many different things that could happen when it comes to civilization and life that it is difficult to make accurate predictions. Nevertheless, there are only a finite number of possibilities (hopefully), so let’s look at some of them.
