Abstract

Raw materials for the manufacture of sintered bearings and structural parts are available in the form of a great variety of iron powders. In Europe alone there is a choice of some twenty different iron powders for powder-metallurgical purposes, and it is known that a number of new production processes are under development which will eventually lead to the introduction of further types of powders on the market.
