Abstract
Progress in the investigation of the luminescence of biopolymers and cells is closely related to the development of new types of apparatus. In this chapter we shall therefore review some of the published work in this field, and also a number of relatively simple devices which we have developed for the investigation of photo-, chemi- and radioluminescence of biopolymers and cells.
