Abstract

Apart from the trained eye and the photographic plate, which have been briefly dealt with in Chapters 5 and 4, there are three methods of light detection commonly used in the UV and visible: (1) Photo-conductive; (2) Photo-voltaic; (3) Photo-emissive.
