Abstract

This explanatory chapter is arranged in a more or less logical order rather than alphabetically, mainly because it is easier to read a continuous sequence of related items than a dictionary, even a short one. Experts don’t, or at least shouldn’t, need this selection, and they can certainly add several pages; but they will probably find enough iconoclastic, though truthful, remarks to start an argument.
