Abstract
In 1934, my sister Manci joined me on my half-year sojourn to Princeton. I felt that she needed a new environment. Her husband was a tall, good-looking fellow with a fine Hungarian name, but Manci had recently separated from him, and for good reason. I was concerned for Manci. I felt that I could offer her support and diversion, and I believe I did. But I did not foresee how much support Manci would offer me. Her presence was calming.
