Abstract

In the solution of the linearized problem for annular wings, the dependence of the circulation of the bound vortices on the angle φ of the cylindrical coordinate system is known exactly. It is thus necessary to study only one problem: How many of these vortices must be located along the chord of the wing to ensure the required accuracy in the calculated rotational-derivative coefficients ?
