Abstract
It will be recalled that in the introduction to Chapter V the Works Council was mentioned as one of the bodies of the Dutch company. From the following outline of the Works Council Act it will become clear that a Works Council’s influence on the day-to-day management of a company which is large enough to be required to have a Works Council, is substantial.
