Abstract

It seems as if it was only yesterday. I remember too well the first incident, the behavior that was so out of character for Aaron. I was vacuuming the living room and he ran across the room and yanked the cord out of the wall. I was surprised. He had never done that before. I insisted that he plug the vacuum back in. As we fought over control of the cord, he steadfastly refused, shouting “it’s too loud” over and over again. Losing the battle, he stomped off to his bedroom, and proceeded to open and slam his door several times.
