Abstract
When I first met Feza in London long, long ago, I think he was probably the first physicist I ever met. I had the idea all physicists were like that. That had a lot to do with my becoming a physicist myself; of course I found out afterwards I was under something of a misapprehension. The reason why I think it is important to talk about Unfashionable Pursuits is because people like Feza are so uncommon. Table 1.1 gives a list of things that Feza has done in his life, with no claim to completeness. They have this common thread, that in the short run they may not be terribly relevant, but in the long run they are. That’s what characterizes Feza, I think.
