Abstract
Perhaps, first, I should establish a rationale for having a neuropsychiatrist on the program of industrial microbiologists. Individuals in your category must focus a sharp scientific eye on very small things, and the other eye might be focused on the idea of practical application. In fact, initially, it may take the fullest or complete focus of your attention to a small biological sphere or area before the mind’s eye turns to classify the observation in its correct place in the larger biological scheme. Contemporary psychiatry would do well to (or must) pass through a similar “micro” orientation regarding the foundations of its material.
