Abstract
Traditional Chinese diagnosis of headaches is quite different from that of Western medicine. In TCM the circulation of qi, stagnation of blood and balance of yin and yang qi all have to be taken into account. The nature of the perverse energy which is the exciting cause of these disorders is also a factor in deciding on a treatment programme.
