Abstract

When we consider play materials within the provision of leisure for people with profound and multiple disabilities it is necessary to have an understanding of, or at least an opinion on, the role of play materials within the general population. To do this is only to reflect that people with profound and multiple disabilities are a part of the general population and that their leisure provision must be firmly placed within the context of that provided for society in general.
