Abstract

The probabilistic formulae derived by means of the representation theory and the related algorithms for setting up structure invariants (i.s.) and structure seminvariants (s.s.) have been implemented in the SIR (Semlnvariant Representation) program (Burla et Al., 1980a) and the most important features of the program will be described in this paragraph, while examples of its application to the solution of crystal structures will be illustrated in the next paragraph.
