The Chemotaxonomy of Coryneform Organisms: Morphology vs. Chemical Anatomy

  • Chapter

Abstract

This short contribution describes no new test or method which will revolutionize bacterial taxonomy and classification. To judge from the other contributions to the First International Symposium on the Interface between Analytical Chemistry and Microbiology, these matters are already in very capable hands, and have produced an impressive mass of information which has already helped to clarify many of the problems of bacterial taxonomy.
