Abstract
Human fertility is a blessing and a curse. Some people are too fertile and others sterile or nearly so. There will always be some, both single and married, who want children but for various physical or physiological reasons are unable to have them. Couples who want children badly, but can’t, face one of the most poignant dilemmas of family life. The inability to conceive a child affects one in six couples.
