Part of the book series: Therapy in Practice Series ((TPS))

Abstract

When a therapist first visits a disabled person at home, only limited details of that person may be available. There may be no specific diagnosis other than, for example, stiff knees, rheumatism or that he is experiencing some problem in carrying out a particular activity, or alternatively, that the person caring for him is having a problem in doing so.
