  • Chapter
Breast Cancer Nursing

Abstract

Physiotherapists can play a large role in the care of patients with breast cancer, helping them with some of the physical problems that may arise, such as the side-effects of medical interventions (e.g. surgery, radiotherapy or chemotherapy) and the effects of the spread of cancer from the breast to other soft tissues or bone.
