Abstract
In this chapter the management of patients with disorders of ocular motility will be outlined. This subject makes up a large part of the workload in any eye unit as up to 8% of the child population have developmental eye problems. Orthoptists have a unique function in this area and an understanding of their role by the nurse should ensure good cooperation and communication.
