Abstract

To expose the testis, hold the testis between thumb and fingers stretching the scrotum over the testis. Make a 2–3 cm incision in the midline raphe and continue on to the testis until a small bead of clear fluid is seen. This shows that the tunica vaginalis has been incised. Extend the incision with scissors until the testis is delivered.
