Hip Arthrography

Abstract

Hip arthrography is not a new investigation; scattered reports on various aspects of the examination have appeared in the literature, especially from Europe, over the last forty years. One can hardly consider this subject without recognizing the outstanding work of Severin (1939, 1941, 1950), particularly with regard to the interpretation of the radiographic findings in the normal and in the application of the investigation in hip dysplasia.
