Abstract
In recent years microcomputers have become available which are suitable for industrial, educational and domestic use. Over the years their cost has reduced so that their purchase has become a realistic proposition for use in a wide range of situations. Cost, however, remains such that careful thought and consideration is needed before deciding to invest in the necessary pieces of equipment, particularly if the purchase is for a sole user.
People must understand that science is inherently neither a potential for good nor for evil. It is a potential to be harnessed by man to do his bidding.
