The normal arthrogram

  • Chapter
Knee Arthrography

Abstract

A correct interpretation of the arthrographic appearances of the menisci implies that the radiologist is experienced in the technique and that not only is he able to identify normal appearances and a departure from them, but is also able to recognize a technically unacceptable arthrogram and to decline to make any deduction which is not supported by the appearances. Expertise in arthrographic interpretation cannot, therefore, be gained solely by reading books.
