Abstract
Coordinating entails efforts to get people working together in order to accomplish targets. The task of coordinating can be facilitated by paying attention to the processes of planning and organizing. Through planning, the goals of any undertaking can be clarified. Then, people and functions can be organized into work structures. Teams and committees are some ways of arranging working relationships. The management task of coordination is about getting the best from people. Direction is needed for the various parts of a system to work as a harmonious whole.
