Abstract
The next three chapters will discuss the use of massage and aromatherapy in a variety of conventional health-care settings. The aim is to give the reader a general introduction to the scope, effects and management of massage and aromatherapy. The settings and client groups described are intended to be representative rather than comprehensive, to give some insight into the use of massage and aromatherapy in conventional settings rather than to be a complete description of practice.
