Abstract

In the preceding chapters we have discussed how the techniques of management science can help a research manager to initiate, plan, evaluate, select and control research projects. Finally, we have discussed how good communications can help to obtain the rewards of conducting a useful research programme. To remind the reader we present a brief summary of the techniques we have recommended.
