Abstract

Scleroderma is a physical sign reflecting thickening, induration and tethering of skin to underlying tissue as a result of cutaneous sclerosis. It is the hallmark of morphoea, a primarily cutaneous disease, and of systemic sclerosis. It can also be a feature of other disorders.
