The principles and practice of measuring outcome

  • Chapter
Book cover Traumatic Brain Injury Rehabilitation

Abstract

Earlier chapters have described some of the challenges that have to be faced if the needs of those who have experienced traumatic brain injury (TBI) are to be met. Firstly, there are features associated with service delivery. The service has to be comprehensive and available to all who need it. Also, the appropriate service for a particular problem should be available in the right place at the right time. It has to be of good quality, accessible and, for those who need it, part of a comprehensive multi-disciplinary approach.
