Abstract

1. Photonuclear reactions have been intensively studied both experimentally and theoretically in the past 10–15 years. This interest was not accidental: γ-ray reactions as an instrument for the investigation of nuclear properties possess undoubted advantages when compared with nucleon reactions because the properties of electromagnetic radiation have been studied thoroughly.

Dissertation offered in satisfaction of the requirements for the scientific degree of candidate in the physical and mathematical sciences. Defended on December 14, 1964 at the P. N. Lebedev Institute of Physics, Academy of Sciences of the USSR.
