Abstract
The synthetic studies of F. G. A. Stone and co-workers have led to the characterization of a large number of alkylidyne-bridged di- and trinuclear complexes. The results of structural studies on some of these species will be presented, together with an analysis of these structural results and some of the spectroscopic data, based on extended Hückel, Fenske-Hall and ab initio calculations.
