Abstract
The target sites for the majority of commercially important herbicides are centered upon photosynthesis and biosynthesis of amino acids, lipids, and carotenoids and have been covered in the previous four chapters. However, a significant number of successful herbicides have target sites outside the scope of Chapters 1–4, and these target sites, where known, will be considered in this chapter.
